Softability — Senior Quality Engineer (2019–2024), and the XReach assignment

The Softability tenure ran ~2019 → February 2024 across three client assignments:

• XReach (~2019 → ~September 2021) — this page.
• HBO Max / Warner Bros. Discovery (~September 2021 → December 2022).
• Aiforia (January 2023 → December 2023).

(CEO Janne Repo's reference states the formal employment period as 2 Dec 2019 – 15 Jan 2024; Esa's actual last day was February 2024, after which he started at Ray Browser.)

XReach

Manual & automated testing of Softability's flagship product XReach, a WebRTC-based remote-support platform for technical assistance tailored to the client's needs: a technician calls an expert on a mobile device; the expert assists via annotated images, chat, audio and video.

• Worked as part of the development team using Azure DevOps, JMeter and Robot Framework.
• Web client on VUE; mobile apps on Xamarin.
• Exploratory, regression and smoke testing on iPhones, Android phones, and RealWear Smart Glasses — plus UWP and browsers (Chrome + Firefox).
• Verified the app against specifications and flagged UX/UI issues where the workflow stopped being user-friendly. International team, office and remote.
